I am going to date myself here but this track is one of my favorites.  From today to back in the day when I became enamored with Hip Hop/Electro.  This track is timeless to me.  The production, the way it flows and the simplicity of it is what makes it stand out to me.  It was new to me and it was Hip Hop that guided me towards these groundbreaking artists in the early 80’s.  Egyptian Lover was a dj/producer that influenced my connection to that sound.  The newness of it.  It was groundbreaking.  It was fresh.  He with Uncle Jam’s Army back in the KDAY days were very influential to me and introduced me to other artists like Juan Atkins (Cybotron), Jonzun Crew, Planet Patrol, Africa Bambaataa, Newcleus, Mantronix, World Class Wrecking Cru, Pretty Tony, and Freestyle just to name a few.  It was the early pioneers that initially exposed me to electronic music.  – Hector Merida
