Get Up Recordings was created to give artists the freedom to break their own boundaries and push through the ceiling of mediocre dance music. The label was founded in 2010 by New York production duo, House of Stank, whose idea was to simply conduct a label that produces quality dance music with reliable consistency. Since the label’s inception, it has played a vital role in establishing the underground sound of the NEW New York (and beyond) with a talent roster that includes Lil’ Mark, Heller & Farley, Tedd Patterson, Kim Ann Foxman, Eli Escobar, Up Yours, Johnny Fiasco, House of Stank, The Carry Nation, Hannah Holland, Honey Dijon, Automagic, Alinka, Mikey V and The Cucarachas. Some are veterans, some are up-and-coming, but all are artists who share the same idea about breaking the mold and erasing the formula of conventional dance music.
