A Bit about Ceri:

Ceri is a London bred DJ, whose earliest experience of electronic music was as a fledgling teenager sneaking out to Fabric, The End, and the Camden Palais, feeling most at home in the middle of a sweaty dance floor. At University in Southampton, Ceri lived for house music; often missing lectures but never missing the High Tide boat parties or legendary nights at Rhino club. Her last day at university was the same day she flew to Ibiza for the summer by which point Ceri was obsessed with dance music and it soon became her life.

Ten years on, Ceri has played for some of the UK’s biggest and best clubs including Sankeys, The Tunnels, Cargo, Cable, Brixton Academy, Egg and Ministry of Sound. Also in her portfolio are appearances of the most musically respected nights such as Jaded, Zombies, Get Diverted, and Rhythmatic. After being so impressed by Ceri’s music, clubbing brands Rhythmatic and Vague also quickly asked her to become their resident.

As well as DJing, Ceri started producing her own music in and in no time, released her first remix on 3am Recordings in 2011. Backing for Ceri’s work has come from some of the biggest and most respected names in the business; Rob Mello, Yaya, Terry Francis, and Dirt Crew – to name a few – supported her debut solo release, the three track ‘Something’s Cooking’ EP, released on Midnight Social Recordings early in 2012.

After her first EP was such a success, labels including Click Therapy, and Wiggle Records approached Ceri to work with them. It was her remix of Lee Guthrie’s ‘Attention’, released on Wiggle in September 2012, that really got Ceri noticed, in particular by Anrnaud Le Texier, F.E.X, Stacey Pullen, and Jamie Jones; who played the track at his Paradise closing party at DC10, Ibiza and at Mint Festival in Leeds.

Never complacent, Ceri also runs a successful annual fundraising club night called ‘Rave to Save’. The last three events have showcased guests such as Matt Tolfrey, Subb-an, and Rocky from X-Press2 – all of whom have helped Ceri raise nearly £10,000 for The Children’s Trust, The Prostate Cancer Charity and Children with Leukaemia (now Children with Cancer).

Though Ceri’s next steps may be shrouded in secrecy, you can bet that big things lie afoot as she has labels approaching her left right and centre. Keep a close eye on this London lady.
